The kiddos & young adults whose lives I have entered have tremendously impacted me. While I initially thought they needed me, I have learned much about myself through them. Each day, I wake up knowing someone will feel and appreciate my love. Every day brings something new, but the confidence instilled in me by the children propels me forward. Meeting new families and being able to mend any broken pieces in their lives has left an everlasting mark on me. Working with my kiddos has been the most fulfilling job ever. In the past, I believed I was living the dream, and to some extent, I was content but never delighted. This journey has been innate to me. My passion for learning and building strong communities has brought me immeasurable joy, a joy that I cannot buy.
